There are two major airports in Houston, Texas:

  1. George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) – This is the larger of the two airports and serves as a hub for United Airlines. It offers flights to and from many domestic and international destinations.
  2. William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) – This airport is smaller than IAH and primarily serves domestic destinations, although it does offer some international flights to destinations in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.

Both airports are operated by the Houston Airport System and offer a range of amenities and services for travellers, including dining, shopping, and transportation options.

The Westin Galleria Houston is located near both of Houston’s major airports, George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU). Here are some options for airport transfers to the hotel:

  1. Taxi: Taxis are readily available at both airports and can take you directly to the hotel. The ride from IAH takes approximately 30-40 minutes, while the ride from HOU takes approximately 25-35 minutes, depending on traffic.
  2. Shuttle service: The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from both airports for a fee. You can arrange for the shuttle service in advance by contacting the hotel directly.
  3. Rideshare: Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are also available at both airports and can take you directly to the hotel.
  4. Car rental: If you prefer to have your own transportation, you can rent a car at either airport and drive to the hotel. The hotel offers on-site parking for a fee.
